I’ve never wanted this to be one of these personal “I watched that movie last night” and “my cat is so cute” blogs and I’m definitely not planning on starting that now, but I feel I cannot return to post here without mentioning the events that caused me to stop during this summer.

As some will know, there was a war in my corner of the world. One of best people I’ve ever known was killed in that war. He died as he was carrying his wounded comrades to shelter, and left behind a wife, 10 month old daughter and irreperably torn souls of all who knew and loved him. Although Inbal & me are now living half the world away, the pain remains and it is unlike any we’ve ever known. It makes you feel obliged to build something meaningful of the life you are lucky to still have.

Elad, may everything we do be worthy of your memory.
